About BS Toys Guide
BS Toys Guide is an independent toy review and information website run by me, Adnan Memon, in Karachi, Pakistan.
I started the site because I wanted to give parents a clearer idea of what a toy is actually like before they buy it. Product listings can tell you the basic specifications, but they do not always answer the practical questions a parent has. How big is the toy in real life? Does it feel sturdy? What comes inside the box? How does it work? Are there small parts or other things a parent should know about?
Those are the details I try to cover here.
Where Our Toy Information Comes From
I have access to physical toys through the local toy market in Karachi. This gives me the opportunity to see products in person, check their packaging and features, take original photos, measure them when useful, and try their functions before writing about them.
Depending on the toy, I may check things such as buttons, lights and sounds, moving parts, remote-control functions, wheels, included accessories, battery requirements, size, construction and general ease of use.
I also read the information printed on the packaging and instructions. If something cannot be verified from the product itself, I do not present it as something I personally tested.
What You’ll Find in Our Reviews
I try to write reviews the way I would explain a toy to another parent. That means showing what I found useful as well as anything that could be inconvenient or disappointing.
You’ll usually find original product photos, important features, approximate measurements where relevant, age and safety notes, what is included in the box, practical observations, and straightforward pros and cons.
Not every toy needs a long review. I would rather give you useful information than add paragraphs simply to make an article longer.
A Note About Toy Safety
I am a parent and toy reviewer, not a product safety laboratory. My safety notes are practical observations intended to help parents notice things such as small parts, sharp edges, battery compartments or age recommendations.
Parents should always follow the age guidance, warnings and instructions supplied by the manufacturer and supervise children where appropriate.
